[There's an awful lot of noise coming from Alexei's room, mostly of metal clanking against each other and the sounds of footsteps. It was muffled a bit like a badly tuned radio when heard through the journal. Occasionally he would start mumbling to himself, but nothing anyone can pick up besides "No, that's not it" or a "hmmm".
